Steel-Harrison (Staffordshire) & Freeman-Heath (Kent)

Updated August 10, 2009

This is general family research. The commonest names are Freeman, Heath, Steel, Harrison, Dyble, Castell, Howard, Dodds. Mainly confined to the English south and midlands, but with relatives in Canada, US, Scandinavia, Australia, New Zealand and roots in Eire.

At the present, this research is extremely ad-hoc! I intend to produce a book of my family history once I am satisfied with its thoroughness, but this is unlikely to be until some time after I have retired from my present full-time occupation. In the meantime, I will be glad to provide electronic extracts (GEDCOM) to other family researchers or, printed extracts of ancestry to family members, only.

I am interested in all family connections, but research concentrates on my direct ancestry. However, I will be glad to link to any related sites. Please let me know of any I should consider (or if you find broken links). Details of living individuals in my own tree are hidden but I will answer any queries if I can, and it seems appropriate.

I occasionally upload this tree to the IGI and Genes Connected family research sites.

Happy hunting!
