| I am currently researching the George Frederick Harsh and John Washington Shahan families. The area I am concentrating in is the North Central West Virginia area. I have George Harsh dated 1730-1740, but I am looking for information about his wife and the children. I have one child listed: George Frederick Harsh, Jr. I am also looking for the parents of John Washington Shahan. John was born in 1858. He married Sarah Mitchell. Sarah's parents were William and Irene Mitchell. They were married in Tucker County, WVA, in 1880.
