WELCOME!
This was going to be a "STEWART" page but as researching often goes it turned into a "SMITH/WARD, HUMMEL/BOWIE", DESKIN/STEWART" page.
We have been looking for our CHARLES HENRY STEWART'S born Feb. 10, 1836, Buckville, Chemung County, New York, died March 1917 in Colfax, Jasper County, Iowa, parents or siblings for over fifteen years. We still are at a brick wall! Charles married Mary Vesta Ward in Warren County, Illinois, in 1858. If you can help please contact us.

In the mean time, we have discovered Dennis' Ward roots, hence the "Wards". We want to thank all the people who have helped, JoAnn Walters, there from the beginning, Janalee Garn, Frances Price, Laura Norvel, Mary Bowie Thurman, Helen Stewart Moore, Donna Bowie Vollers Taylor, Margaret Pyle Brooks, and many others, without their help these files would not be as complete as they are. Thank you.

If you find a connection, please contact us to say, hello!

We know there are probably errors, please, if you find them let us know.

Surnames
Benson, Bowen, Bowie, Cosper, Doughty, Eaton, Hashman, Hearn, Hummel, Deskin, Gale, McReynolds, Nickell, Pyle, Sanders, Shockey, Smith, Stewart, Ward, Wilkinson these are the main
lines we are working on and appreaciate all help.
