(EMMA) CONNELL August 13, 1870 in Gadsden County, Florida, daughter of JOHN CONNELL and ANN BRADY. She was born Abt. 1850 in Gadsden County, Florida, and died Bef. 1900 in Gadsden County, Florida.

Notes for E
MILY A. (EMMA) CONNELL:
Emma Connell died about 1900. A descendent says she was at home, sitting by the fire, nursing her youngest child Judson when she began to have pain. She called for her daughter, Annie, telling her,
"take the baby". Emma was assisted to the bed by her daughter Clemmie and died immediately. The cause of her death is unknown but probably was a heart attack.
At this point little is known of the ancestors of the Connell family. The fact that Emma is buried apart from Richard in a different cemetery is a mystery within itself since he did not remarry after her death.
Emma Connell is buried in the Barber Cemetery in Gadsden County, Florida, in a lone grave without other family members. It was reported by her daughter Clemmie that she did not believe it to be Emma's final resting place, however the headstone contradicts that belief. Emma, the mother of eight children, was forty-two years old at death.
