William and Margaret Trindle sold land in Pennsboro Township,
Lancaster County to James Silver. Winesses Patt Allen, George Wright,
Archibald Mackey, John Hoge. (Spelling in Recored signature is Trenel,
and Trindell, though Trindle in heading and body of document.)

"John Trindle was a son of William Trindle of Trindle's Spring, who was
a lieutenant in the Provincial forces in 1747-8, and died in 1774.
His wife Annie survived her husband. John Trindle was
commissioned Justice of the Peace, June 9, 1747, and was one of the
sub-lieutenants of the country.
