Had two or three sisters.Her father was a merchant or store owner in Askim.My mother remembers going down the street and seeing the name Haga over the store.
According to both Eva Lunde Borud and Hjordis Loe Lunde, Anna Haga died on Aase Lunde's 17th birthday.They had prepared a cake and so forth for the celebration.Anna died rather suddenly, over a course of just a few hours.They remember all the children trying to sit and eat cake for the sake of the younger children, but everyone had tears running down their faces because Mama had died.Tante Eva remembers Hjordis, who at the time was engaged to Erling, immediately stepping in to take care of the three youngest girls: Eva (17), Ingrid (12) and Asbjorg (8).
