from John Johnston 1/18/03, The father of theGoolsbury Flowers was also named Goolsbury Flowers, and he was a brother of my ancestor, John Flowers (1795 - 1854).John and wife Nancy are buried here in Pike County at Union Springs Primitive Baptist Church, near the Spring Hill community.I am pretty certain that Goolsbury (Sr.) and his wife, Edy Williamson Flowers, are also buried there as I know for a fact that they were members there at one time.Goolsbury Sr. and my John were brothers, and their wives, Edy Williamson and Nancy Williamson, were sisters!
