She was born 18 February 1847 in Ava, Douglas Co., Missouri, and died 1 February 1928 in Ava, Douglas Co., Missouri.

KEN states:
My aunt went to Ava, Missouri, and spoke to a C.V. Clinkingbeard, one of
Robert A.'s [Alexander Clinkingbeard] grandsons. He had the original of
Robert's discharge paper from the Union Army at the end of the Civil War.
It shows that Robert A. Clinkingbeard enrolled on 13 Nov 1864 and was
discharged 12 May 1865. He was from Laclede County, Missouri, and was 18
years old when discharged.

KEN states:
The last name should be YANDELL. My aunt, while in Ava, Missouri, picked
up a brochuire at the courthouse with information about the family. This
brochure is attributed to Mrs J.R. Spurlock of Ava, Missouri. . . Thomas
K. YANDELL was a major in the Civil War. The brochure says Thomas and
Matilda came to Missouri soon after their marriage, so I tend to believe
that Martha was born in Missouri, rather than Tennessee as you have. I
will double-check with my aunt. Other children of Thomas and Matilda:
