Gilbert FitzReinfride became the 6th Baron of Kendal. "In 1189 The Barony of Kendal was granted to Gilbert Fitz-Reinfred . ."[a] That was the year of his marriage to Helewise, daughter of William de Lancaster, 5th Baron of Kendale, and it was presumably through her (as an only child of William?) that Gilbert succeeded to the title.

Henry, the second son of Sir Nicholas de Radeclive, was a witness to the Deed of Foundation of Burscough Priory in 1124 following the gift that year of lands to the Priory by Henry's nephew, Richard de Radeclive. In addition to Henry's three sons, he had a daughter who married Robert de Entwistle.
