20. WILLIAM JASPER "JASPER"⁴ FAULKINBURY (HULDAH³ MILLER, GEOGE², GEORGE¹)⁵⁷ was born July 23, 1838 in Lancaster Co., SC, and died April 1902 in Ivanhoe, Fannin Co., TX. He married (1) SUSAN A. JANE ADAMS^57,⁵⁸ October 04, 1857 in Lafayette, MS ⁵⁹. She was born Abt. 1840 ⁶⁰, and died in Logan, AR ⁶¹. He married (2) LUCY TURNER⁶¹ Aft. 1879. She died in Logan Co., AR.

DEATH: Buried in an unmarked grave at Newhope, Cemetary outside Bonham,
Texas near Ivanhoe.

Note: Carolyn Fredrikkson, Lottie Stout, Glendle Faulkinbury and
Flossie Brewer visited Newhope, Cemetary and we could not
locate William Jasper's grave.

MARRIAGE: William Jasper and Jane Adams married in Lafayette, Mississippi;
no date.

Mississippi Infantry. Listed are W.J., G.F., & Henry N.
Faulkinberry, which is most likely Pitman Warren Falkinbury's sons,
William Jasper, George Folger and Henry Newton.

Update: Lottie Stout sent after the 31st Mississippi Infantry
records of the above three Faulkinbury's. Information contained
the signatures of W.J. & Henry N. They spelt their names as:
William J. Faulkinbury and Henry N. Faulkinbury. The name for
G.F. was George F. Faulkinbury (last name was also spelt many ways).

It was noted that George F. Faulkinbery 'deserted while on march
from Jackson to Morton on July 16, 1863'. This was confirmed when
Lottie Stout was talking to George's great-grandson, Herschel Leon
Faulkinbury on Aug 3rd 1991, about George. Herschel mentioned that
his great-grandfather George Folger had deserted the south and went
to the north without knowing the information that Lottie had
received.

This confirmation has convinced Lottie that these three Faulkinbury's
were indeed brothers.
