July 16, 1975 Funeral services were held Saturday for Jackie Badger, 32, who died suddenly July 9, 1975, at his home at R.R. 1, Fults. He was the husband of Mrs. Ruth Badger, nee Weiss. His funeral took place from the Quernheim Funeral Home in Waterloo with services at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Waterloo, the Rev. Dr. W. Earl Ashley officiating, and burial was in the Waterloo Cemetery. Mr. Badger was born Aug. 19, 1942, at Union City, Tenn., a son of Oliver and Dora Badger, nee Wilson. He was a repairman for General Motors Corporation in St. Louis. He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Barbara Ann Badger of Millstadt; a son, Jack Badger of Millstadt; his mother, Dora Badger, nee Wilson of Waterloo; two sisters, Mrs. Robert (Martha) Cradock of Warren, Mich., and Mrs. Steve (Mary Helen) Plappert of Lincoln, Ill.; six brothers, Charles, Oliver and Myrvin Badger of Waterloo, Roger Badger of Valmeyer, James Badger of Luling, La., and Wayne Badger of Mehlville, Mo.; a step-daughter, Cheryl Goodman of Granite City, two step-sons, Ivan James of Overland, Mo., and Michael James of Cahokia, and five step-grandchildren. A coroner's inquest is pending.
