I am researching the STONE family originating with Elias Willard Stone beleived to have been born in 1804 in Massachusetts, married in 1827 and migrated to Illinois in about 1830.His wife's name is unknown but his children were Norton, Willard, Lloyd, Marvan, Malvina, Mary and William.William was my great, great grandfather.He was born May 23, 1840 near St. Charles, Kane County, Illinois.He left Illinois in about 1860 and went to California on a wagon train.He later moved to Canyon City, Oregon and met and married Mary Carolyn McCallum on November 2, 1865.Their son was Arthur Elias who was born on February 4, 1874 in John Day, Oregon.Arthur married Nellie Lucy Clendenen on March 24, 1903 in John Day, Oregon.Their son Chester Arthur was born on December 5, 1910 in John Day and he married Nellie Fern Carr on September 6, 1929.Their daughter Patricia Ellen was born on March 25, 1931 in Lewiston, Idaho.I am interested in any information about Elias Willard STONE, his wife, their children, the McCALLUM, CLENDENEN, and CARR families.
