| I am researching descendents and ancestor's of Andrew Stoop(e) who came to America in 1773. He was indentured to Mr. Christian Minnick in Bristol, PA as a servant for 4 years. Mr. Minnick was a retired sea captain and a member of the Bucks County Committee of Safety. Andrew fought in the 7th Maryland Regiment from 1777 to 1780. A portion of the Stoop family resided in Stoopville, Bucks Co., PA (also known as Stoop's Corner)just north of Newtown. In addition, I am researching Stoop (PA, NJ, OH, CA, MI, NY), Pyle (Chester Co., PA), Finnegan (Pittsburgh, PA), Copple (S. E. PA), Kondrach, Yanish & Snyder (Lehigh Co., PA), Bower, Riddle, Toland, Shaw, Satterthwaite. |
