The Stoop family starting in Colonial Pennsylvania
I am researching descendents and ancestor's of Andrew Stoop(e) who came to America in 1773.He was indentured to Mr. Christian Minnick in Bristol, PA as a servant for 4 years.Mr. Minnick was a retired sea captain and a member of the Bucks County Committee of Safety.Andrew fought in the 7th Maryland Regiment from 1777 to 1780.A portion of the Stoop family resided in Stoopville, Bucks Co., PA (also known as Stoop's Corner)just north of Newtown. In addition, I am researching Stoop (PA, NJ, OH, CA, MI, NY), Pyle (Chester Co., PA), Finnegan (Pittsburgh, PA), Copple (S. E.
