2. ANTON2 YACH (ANDREW (ANDREAS)1) was born December 20, 1854 in Dombrows, Koscierzyna, Poland, and died September 17, 1931 in St. Mary's Hospital, Wausau, WI, Marthon County. He married VERONA PLATTA January 27, 1879. She was born January 06, 1859 in Polonia, WI, and died August 03, 1944 in Marthon Cty Asylum.

                        ANTON YACH

Anton Yach of Hatley, a former resident of Portage county for 60 years, died at 6:10 o'clock Wednesday evening at St. Mary's hospital at Wausau. He was in good health until Monday evening when he became suddenly ill. he was removed to the hospital Tuesday afternoon, and his condition became rapidly worse. A son, Joseph Yach, Washington avenue, underwent a serious operation at Marshfield on Wednesday.

Mr. Yach was born in Poloand and came to this country, directly to Portage county, when a boy of 13. The family located on a farm north of Ellis in the district known as Poland Corners in the town of Sharon. Mr. Yach's marriage to Miss Verona Platta of Ellis took place in 1869. They lived on a farm on the Bentley mill road in the town of Dewey until three years ago when they sold the farm and moved to Hatley.

He is survived by his widow, two sons, Joseph Yach of this city and Barney Yach of Hatley and seven daughters, Mrs. John F. Konkol of Amherst, Mrs. Frank Groshek and Mrs. Henry Sontage of Ringle, Mrs. Leo King and Mrs. Leo Zoromski of Hatley, Mrs. David Glisczinski of Custer and Mrs. Peter P. Check, 1313 East Briggs street, Stevens Point. Three sons preceded Mr. Yach in death. They were John B. Yach, who died in 1916, August Yach, in 1918, and Alex Yach, in 1919. Mr. Yach also leave 66 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements have not been completed.

                              FUNERAL SATURDAY

Funeral services for Anton Yach of Hatley, a former resident of Portage county for more than a half century, who died Wednesday at Wausau, will be held at 9 o'clock Saturday morning at St. Floyd's church at Hatley. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.

                        ANTON YACH

Anton Yach, Hatley, farmer, died at St. Mary's hospital last evening at 6 o'clock after an illness of two days. Funeral services are to be conducted Saturday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Florians church in Hatley, the Rev. Stanley Krackowicki officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

The deceased was born in Germany August 20, 1855, and came to this country sixty-eight years ago. He lived in Polonia, Portage County, sixty-four years before moving to Hatley four years ago. Fifty-three years ago he was married in Polonia.

Surviving are the widow; nine children, Joseph Yach and Mrs. Peter Chick of Stevens Point, Barney Yach, Mrs. Leo King, and Mrs. Leo Zoromski of Hatley, Mrs. John Konkol of Amherst Junction, Mrs. Frank Groshek and Mrs. Henry Sontag of Ringle and Mrs. David Glisczinski of Polonia; a brother John Yach of Hatley; a sister, Mrs. John Bushman of Polonia.

ERONA PLATTA:
                        MRS. VERONICA YACH

Mrs. Veronica Yach, age 84, widow of Anton Yach, died this morning at 8 o'clock at her home at Hatley. She had been ill a year and confined in bed three weeks.

Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Florian's Catholic Church of Hatley. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. The body is at the family home.

Mrs. Yach formerly lived on a farm in Torun and for the past 25 years had resided in Hatley. Her husband died 12 years ago.

Surviving are eight children, Barney Yach and Mrs. Leo King of Hatley, Mrs. John Konkol of Amherst, Mrs. Dave Glisczinski of Custer, Mrs. Frank Groshek of Wausau, Mrs. Leo Zoromski of Schofield, Mrs. Henry Sunday of Ringle and Mrs. Peter Check, 1313 Sims avenue. Three sons preceded her in death.

                        YACH FUNERAL

Pallbearers for Mrs. Veronica Yach, 85, Hatley, who died Thursday at a local hospital and whose funeral was held this morning at home and at St. Florian's Catholic church in that village, were Peter Check, Frank Groshek, Leo Zoromski, Leo King, Henry Sontag and John Konkol. The Rev. S.A. Krakowiecki officiated and interment was in the parish cemetery.

                        Mrs. John Yach

Mrs. John Yach of Hatley, Portage County resident most of her life, died at 5 o'clock Thursday afternoon at St. Mary's Hospital, Wausau. She had been ill only a few weeks and was at the hospital two days previous to her death.

Mrs. Yach was born in Germany on January 1, 1872. She was brought to this country by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Szalewski, when she was six months old. They family located in the town of Dewey where they lived for several years and then moved to the town of Sharon. Mrs. Yach, whose maiden name was Frances Szalewski, was married when she was 17 years old to Mr. Yach of the town of Sharon. They made their home in that township, near North Star, until three years ago when they sold their farm and went to Hatley to live.

Mrs. Yach is survived by her husband and nine sons and daughters, Leo Yach, 300 North Illinois avenue, Mrs. Barney Omernik, 513 North Illinois avenue, Peter Yach and Mrs. Frank Zaborowski of Hatley, Barney Yach of the town of Hull, Mrs. Nick Wiczek of Custer, Mrs. Andrew Miloch of Superior and Mrs. Nettie Schram and Mrs. Regina Laszinski of Chicago. Four step children also survive, Mrs. Michael Ostrowski and John Yach of Hatley, Max Yach of the town of Sharon and Victor Yach of Milwaukee.

Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Monday morning at St. Florian's church at Hatley and burial will take place there.

                        ATTEND RITES AT HATLEY

Stevens Point and Portage County persons who attended the funeral of Mrs. John yach of Hatley Monday morning included Mr. and Mrs. Leo A. Yach, son & daughter-in-law, and Mrs. and Mrs. Barney Omernik, son-in-law and daughter of Stevens Point; Mrs. and Mrs. Barney Yach, son and daughter-in-law, of the town of Hull; Mr. and Mrs. Nick Wiczek, son-in-law and daughter, of Custer and Mr. and Mrs. Max Yach of the town of Sharon. Max Yach is a stepson of the late Mrs. Yach. Mrs. Yach had been a Portage County resident most of her life, living in the town of Dewey and later in Sharon.

Other sons and daughters present at the funeral were Mrs. Nettie Schram and Mrs. Regina Laszinski of Chicago, Mrs. Andrew Myloch and daughter, Ester, of Superior, Peter Yach and Mrs. Frank Zaborowski of Hatley. Mrs. Michael Ostrowski and John Yach of Hatley, stepdaughter and stepson, were also present at the funeral.

A number of friends and former neighbors of the Yach family of this city and vicinity went to Hatley for the funeral.

                        MRS. FRANCES YACH

Mrs. Frances yach, nee Saleski, wife of John Yach of Hatley, died here at St. Mary's hosptial yesterday afternoon at 3:15 o'clock after an illness of three weeks. Funeral services are to be conducted Monday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Florian's church in Hatley, the Rev. Stanley Krakowicki officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

The deceased was born January 1, 1872 in Germany and came to this country fify-nine years ago. She was married at Polonia, Portage County, July 15, 1886. Surviving are the widower, nine children. Peter and Mrs. Frank Sobrowski of Hatley, Leo, Barney and Mrs. Barney Omernick of Stevens Point, Mrs. Nick Weijek of Polonia, Mrs. Andrew Myloch of Superior and Mrs. John Dewe and Mrs. Renie Smith of Chicago and four stepchildren, Mrs. Michael Wastrowski and John Yach of Hatley, Max Yach of Polonia and Victor Yach of Milwaukee.
