E. Kent Brink, 52, former resident of Kent City, died Tuesday at his home in Houston, Texas, where he moved 10 years ago. Mr. Brink was born in Grand Rapids and besides living in Kent City and Houston, he resided in Grant and Fremont. He was a veteran of World War I, serving for 10 months in France. Surviving Mr. Brink are the. widow, the former Miss Cleo Robinson of Kent City; two sons, Eugene and Lawrence; two daughters, Barbara and Mary, all in Houston; two brothers, Ray of Fremont, and Roy of Tampa, Fla, and one sister, Mrs. Anna Brink of Grand Rapids. The body arrived Sunday morning and was removed to the Kent City Methodist church where funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Evans Swanson Post, American Legion, was the guard of honor and was in charge of services at ldlewild cemetery.
