Contractor Dies at 46
Heart Attach Fells Walter E. Brink
GRAND HAVEN - Walter Ernest Brink, 46, widely known local contractor, died at his home here Saturday morning of a heart attack. He had designed and built many structures in Grand Haven, including the recently built manse of the Presbyterian Church. Born in Fremont, he came to Grand Haven 10 years ago from Norton Township, Muskegon County. He was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church here, serving as an elder, a Sunday School teacber and choir member. Surviving are his widow, Caroline; one daughter, Linda, at home; two sons, Larry, attending the University of Michigan, and Lee at Tri-State College in Indiana; and three brothers, Donald of Fremont, Lavern of Muskegon and Reo of Milford. The body is at the Kinkema Funeral Home. Funeral serv. ices will be held at 1 Tuesday at the First Presbyterian Church, with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery at Fremont.
