Notes for Marian Hollinger: HOLLINGER: Mrs. Marian L., aged 62 of 12155 Wisner Ave., RFD No. 2, Grant wife of Harold J. Hollinger, Grant Veterinary, and a lifetime resident passed away Friday afternoon following a long illness. She was born Marian Louise Brown August 11, 1913 in Ashland Township daughter of Nathaniel and Maude Brown. She married Harold James Hollinger May 17, 1935 in Ashland Center. She graduated from Grant High School in 1931 and Newaygo County Normal in 1933. She was a member of the Ashland Center Church of Christ, Ashland Ladies Aid, the Ashland Grange, Farm Bureau and Newaygo County Cancer Society. Mrs. Hollinger was a housewife and worked with her husband Harold in his veterinary practice. Surviving are: her husband Harold J.; 3 daughters Mrs. Dale (Ruth) Henry, Mrs. Mary Jane Hallberg, Mrs. A. J. (Carolyn) McKinley all of Grant; 1 son Robert J. of Grant; 8 grandchildren; 2 sisters Mrs. Helen Stark of Grant and Mrs. Hester Link of Conklin. Funeral services were. held Sunday at 1:30 p.m. from the McKinley Funeral Home in Grant. Interment Ashland Center Cemetery.
