Mrs. Delia Frences McKinlay, 73, died Friday at the home of her son, John Elmer McKinlay of Ashland township, four miles northwest of Grant. She was the widow of John McKinlay, to whom she was wed in 1883. She had lived in Newaygo county since she was 16 and was a member of the Ashland Grange. Surviving are the son, six daughters, Mrs. Grace Patterson and Mrs. Rose Eady of Ashland, Mrs. Delia Scott of Bridgton, Mrs. Audrey Dobben of Jackson, Mrs. Mina Jenks of Grand Rapids and Miss Norie McKinlay, Dearborn teacher; fourteen grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral at 3 p. m. Sunday at Ashland Center Baptist church with burial in the cemetery there.
