PATTERSON - Mrs. Grace Patterson, aged 77, of R. Rte 2, Grant, passed away Wednesday evening after a long illness at her home. Surviving are two sons, Dr. Clarence of Fremont, Ernest of Newaygo; six daughters, Mrs. Robert Mahaffa of Newaygo, and Mrs. Betty Thompson of Muskegon; Mrs. Ethel Wolff, Mrs. Alfred Erhardt, Mrs. Clarence Ching, Mrs. LaVern Cole, all of Grant; one brother, Elmer McKinley of Grant; four sisters, Mrs. Wallace Scott of Grant, Mrs. Mina Jenks of Grand Rapids, Mrs. George Dobben of Jackson, Mrs. By Brown of Dearborn; 20 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren. She will repose at the McKinley Chapel, Grant, where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m., Rev. John L. Bayes officiating. Interment Ashland Center cemetery.
