Obituary notice ----
Sparta, June 17. - Funeral services for Charles Stream, 74, who died here at the home of his daughter, Mrs. D. J. Johnson, late Saturday, will be held Wednesday. Private rites will be held at the Johnson home at 1:30 p.m. to be followed by services at Mamrelund Lutheran church near Sparta, of which he was a member, at 2:30. Burial will be at Sparta Greenwood cemetery. Stream was born in Finland and came to this country when a young man, settling in western Michigan. He lived on a farm near Kent City for many years and took up residence with his daughter about 10 years ago. He is survived by two other daughters, Mrs. Carl Johnson of Sparta and Mrs. J. C. Derena of Grand Rapids; four sons, William and Edward of Kent City, Ernest of Grant and Harold of South Bend, Ind.. and several grandchildren.
