LUNDQUIST: Wesley J. age 63 of 11966 Fruit Ridge, Kent City, passed away unexpectedly Sunday at Butterworth Hospital. He was a farmer, also a dealer for DeKalb Seed Corn. He was a member of the Kent Co. Farm Bureau, Michigan Horticulture Soc., Peach Ridge Fruit Growers Association. He was the Custodian for Mamrelund Lutheran Church from 1954 through 1971, and was a member of the church council for three years. Mr. Lundquist is survived by his wife , Garnet, and family, James and Fern of Kent City, Keith and Loreen Stream of Scottville, Ed and Rosalie Shangle of Sparta, Andrew and Doris Ann Vander Werf of Fla., James and Patricia Norton of Wyoming, 13 Grand children, 2 brothers, Clinton of Casnovia, Clifford of Custer, 4 sisters, Miss Irene Lundquist of Flint, Mrs. Elmer (Alice) Lackrome of Custer, Mrs. Garth (Monna) Bradford, of Muskegon, Mrs. Malcolm (Florence) Piercy of Ravenna, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Wednesday, 2 p.m. at Mamrelund Lutheran Church with Rev. Don Johnson officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Those who wish may make contributions to Mamrelund Church Memorial Fund
