Ladd, a retired salesman for Dow Chemical Co., died Tuesday at Memorial Medical Center. He was 82. Mr. Ladd was born in Kansas City, Mo., and lived in River Ridge for the past 40 years. He graduated from Kansas State University. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the 454 Bomb Squadron, the Krewe of Caesar, the Krewe of Houmas and a member and former king of Okeanos. Survivors include his wife, Rhoda J. Ladd; two sons, John and Tracy Ladd; three stepsons, August "Lee," Paul and Michal Labue; a stepdaughter, Debbie Ayo; a sister, Shirley Cohen; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
