Tomlin, 63, Kansas City, MO, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2001, at VA Medical Center, from after a battle with lung cancer. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 20, at D.W. Newcomer's Sons White Chapel Funeral Home. Burial in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Monday, February 19, at the chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
Mr. Tomlin was born December 6, 1937 in Carrollton, MO. He was a professional over-the-road truck driver, retiring in 1979 from driving. He started Pals Janitorial Service which is still operating today. He was a member of Teamsters Local 41 and attended Northland Cathedral. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Alberta of the home; three sons, Donald and wife, Patricia Tomlin of Kansas City, MO, Randel and wife, Heather Tomlin, Liberty, MO and Robert James Tomlin, Osage Beach, MO; daughter, Tina and husband, Gene Wiederstein, Liberty, MO; 15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Neil and wife, Linda Tomlin, Wheaton, IL.
