Notes for Marilyn Maxine Clark: Kansas City Star, The (MO) - February 21, 2006 Deceased Name: MARILYN MAXINE MINTER Marilyn Maxine Minter, 82, of Independence, MO passed away Sunday, February 19, 2006 at her residence. Services will be 12 Noon, Thursday, February 23, at D.W. Newcomer's Sons, Floral Hills Chapel. Mausoleum Entombment will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel. Marilyn was born August 7, 1923 to Vernie N. and Mary Jane (Neill) Clark and had lived in this area most of her life. She retired as an Electronics Assembler with the Wilcox Electric Co. She was a graduate of East High School and a member of the Maywood Baptist Church and its Knitting Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Junior Minter in 1991 and her daughter, Mary Lynn Spencer in 2005. Survivors include three sons, Dan E. Minter and his wife Janet of Olathe, KS, Chris C. Minter of KCMO, Neil E. Minter and his wife Julie of Lee's Summit, MO, eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
