Albertland
Located in Memorial Park Wellsford with access to parking from Port Albert Road (Highway 16). Most locals know where the Wellsford MacDonald’s restaurant is located and the Museum is up on the rise behind.
The Museum staffed by volunteers is open 7 days a week between 1.00pm and 3.00pm.
And usually in the mornings during the month of January.
If they get advanced notice they can generally have a special opening for a coach trip.
A small entry fee charged for adults and school age children.

One of the Museums main resources is photographs from the Harold Marsh Collection taken between 1900 and 1940. Visitors are encouraged to browse through their catalogues.

A major fundraiser each year is a calendar containing 12 photographs taken in their area in the first part of last century. The 2001 calendar will be available for sale from the museum after October 2000 for $12.00 NZ or posted anywhere in NZ for $14.00 NZ.
