PLEASE CONTACT ME VIA E-MAIL FOR UPDATED INFORMATION AND/OR CORRECTIONS. I HAVE BEEN INACTIVE ON HERE FOR AWHILE AND THE TREE NEEDS MUCH ATTENTION. I AM CURRENTLY MAKING CORRECTIONS ON THE HARD COPY PDF FILE AND WILL UPLOAD SOON. THANK YOU. ***JUST ADDED A LONG LOST PHOTO OF RICHARD BALL DAGGER AND HAVE FOUND ORIGINAL COPIES OF HIS NATURALIZATION DOCUMENT FROM 1917 AND ALSO HIS MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE TO GRANDMA MARCHIO (SARAH JANE DAVISON)FROM 1907. My mother, Dorothy had a stroke in March of 2011 and has compounded the Alzheimer's. I am her sole provider/caregiver now that she is 96. I have a wonderful nurse that tends to her during the week while I work. If it wern't for her, I would have retired by now.
This page is dedicated to the STRAUB / MOYER and DAGGER / MARCHIO / DAVISON families. The Straub's and Moyers settled in N.J.and eastern Pa. I've since found the Straub name on a beer brewery site and the Moyer name in eastern Pa. is connected with Lebanon Bologna. The Lenape Indian Tribe also has been mentioned in my heritage. However, as of now , I cannot find any immediate connection. Perhaps from a marriage, I'm not sure.
Any information that would be helpful for further research would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to contact me directly. Corrections and verifications of places , dates and times will also be very helpful, as long as I can get confirmation. I am also willing to share any information that I have.
While going through some old papers, I also came across the name Kleintop from Kunkletown Pa. However I cannot make the connection with any of my lineage so far. If this sort of site interests you at all, please don't hesitate to contact me. Feel free to browse around and search the other family names in my tree. As all of you know, that do this sort of thing , how labor intensive it can be. I will update, with new photos and any corrections or additions as time allows. I currently have 854 individuals spanning 13 generations with 219 surnames. However, not all are directly related to me. Some names are through marriage. I'm 50 now and hardly ever knew my families , after leaving New Jersey when I was only 5 with two sibling much older than me, grew up pretty much by myself. I felt compelled to re-connect with as many of them as possible, while I still can. It will also leave a bit of history for my kids to carry on and keep up with.Hopefully this site and contact information will help. My mother and I flew to Newark on her birthday , June 28th, the two weeks we spent went by too quickly. A special thank you to Brenda and Bobby for allowing us to stay with them. We had many family re-unions during the stay and mother was a little overwhelmed I think. While in Morristown we were able to visit her birth house. Along with many cemetary visits I have many photos to upload to my KODAK site. All in all it was a great time. One final picture is needed to complete my Straub family tree. No pictures of Richard Ball Dagger exist , that I can find. He was my mothers' father and a brick layer at All Souls Hospital in Morristown NJ. He died at 33 years of age and I find it very unusual that I'm not having any luck locating a picture of him. The visit to their house on Chestnut Street,Morristown makes me wonder about him.
A friend told me recently.....
"You just don't realize how small the world really is, until you start a family tree."
HOW TRUE THAT IS !
THANKS FOR STOPPING BY and please bookmark the site. Check back again in the future for updates.
Good luck in your own hunting. Please remember to sign my guestbook, located at the very bottom of the page.
Thank You, Keith

Frederick and Mary Straube listed as painter and house-keeper on line 37. These may be my grand-parents but because of their age and date of the census I'm not sure. Could they be my Great GrandParents with the same first names? Could these have been the first immigrants from Germany? I can't seem to make the connection, if any. Of course we rely solely on whoever wrote this document.

Emigrated from Liverpool but, was born in the parish of Poulton Le Fylde, Lancashire County. Hair: dark brown. Eyes: brown, 5'6" 133 lbs. Lobe of R ear disfigured. Was a subject of King George the 5th, King of Great Britain & Ireland. Married June 15 1907 at City Hall in NYC. Resided for a time at 535 W 125th St. NYC. Moved to Whippany NJ shortly after.
