Theodor was born in Idesheim Germany on February 2, 1879. At the age of six he accompanied his parents on the trip from Germany to the United States. Twenty years later he married Katherine Klein in St John's Church in Winfield Illinois. Katherine was born in Winfield to Mathias Klein and Josephine Hamschmidt on August 8, 1887.
Theodor was a daily laborer. He and Katherine lived on Mountain Street in Aurora and had eight children. Katherine died on December 29, 1920 at the age of 33. Theodor died on March 7, 1941. They are both buried in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Aurora. Illinois.
