George Washington Williams (son of Joseph C. Williams and Priscilla Mount) was born 03 Nov 1851 in Tennessee, and died 04 Oct 1941 in Gunter, Grayson County, Texas¹⁴⁰. He married Delilah Fitts on 04 Jan 1872 in De Kalb County, Tennessee¹⁴¹, daughter of Tandy Walker Fitts and Isabell Foster.

They moved to Weston, Collin County, Texas in the summer of 1890.
After Delilah died George moved in with Altla & her family.
He died in their home in Gunter, Grayson County, Texas.
