Marcella Joan Phillips, age 57, of Route 1. Helenwood, TN., died March 27, 1995, at the Scott County Hospital in Oneida.

Born in Oneida, TN, July 28, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Leamon and Millie Keeton Phillips.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one sister, Alene Phillips McDonald, and one brother, J.C. Phillips. She was a housewife and a member of the Pentecost Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Monroe Phillips of Helenwood. TN; one son, Emanual Phillips and wife, Faye, of Cohutta, GA; two sisters, Veneda Grimes and husband, Lawrence of Winfield, TN, and Lois Brown and husband, Bob of Amelia, OH; four brothers: Ron Phillips and wife Susan, of Ashville, NC; Bill Phillips and wife, Linda of Cincinnati, OH; Hertis Phillips and wife, Terri, and Mike Phillips and wife Deane, all of Oneida; several nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted March 29, 1995 at the West-Murley FLmeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glen Whitehead officiating. Interment followed in the Cecil Cemetery.

Fred Boyatt, Jr., 49, of Norwood, Ohio, passed away Wednesday morning, October 29, at the Bethesda Base Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.
He was the son of the late Ester West Boyatt and was baptized and joined the fellowship of the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Oneida at an early age.
He is survived by his father, Fred Boyatt of Oneida; his wife, Verna Dean Phillips Boyatt of Norwood, Ohio; one daughter Tammy Lynn Boyatt of Norwood, Ohio; one son, Steven Todd Boyatt of Norwood, Ohio; five sisters, Beulah R. Ellis of Allardt, Mildred Cordell of Pine Knot, Ky. Wilda Boyatt and Betty Hammock, both of Oneida, and Wanda Woytek of Reno, Nevada; one brother Earl H. Boyatt of Oneida; several nieces and nephews; and host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted at 1 P.M. Saturday, November 1, at the West-Murely Funeral Home chapel, with Rev. Chris Day and Rev.. James E. Marcum officiating. The Nance Family Singers from Jamestown sang. Burial was in the Hazel Valley Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Charlie Marcum, Don Jeffers, James Hamilton, Jack Chitwood, Jack Stamey, and Dean Cordell.
West-Murley Funeral Home of Scott County was in charge of the arrangements.
