The Robert Champley Family Home Page

I am presently researching the relatives of Robert Champley who was born about 1690 at Pickering, Yorkshire, England. He married Elizabeth Lassells on 28th April 1709 at Pickering. They had five children, the first Richard, b. 1710 was believed to have died during infancy. Elizabeth, b. 1711 was the eldest daughter followed by another Richard, b. 1713, Hannah, b. 1716 and lastly Mary, b.1718.

I am also trying to establish the link with the American branches of the Champley family which originated in Hull and Newcastle in England.

The Australian connection is also very elusive although we do know that John Champley was sent to Australia as a convict. However we have so far been unable to trace his parents.

If anyone can provide any information regarding this family I would be delighted to receive it. I am also prepared to share any information that I have.
