Margaret and ( John?) Beattie's daughter, Agnes ( born, according to the 1901 census, on July 04, 1812, but this may not be correct ) married ( ? possibly) on March 14, 1828 in Dalton, Dumfries, Scotland ) to William Johnston ( born approx 1804 ), parents unknown yet.
We know that Wm. Johnston entered Canada in Sept, 1833, then Agnes joined him in May of 1836 with their 2 young children, (possibly accompanied by her younger brother, James Beattie... but this is pure speculation at this point). (NA)
