Notes for Margaret Anderson: "Margaret ( ...? Anderson?...) Beattie, Dumfries, Scotland, and possibly from England later in life. Her husbands name is unknown at this point, but is most likely " John". 3 of their sons came to NB in the early 1800's, and two of them, John and William settled in Tabusintac. At least one more son, named William, stayed in the old country, then moved and perhaps stayed in England. I convinced Edie "Joy Beattie Ayer" to join the tab-mir web site...she has been researching the "Beattie" line for years, and is now trying to track down where James settled. A researcher, who just happens to be searching for the same person, saw her request on the site, and contacted Joy. In turn, Joy sent this Patsy copies of " THE LETTERS", I will send on to you the e-mail exchange that occured there, and it now looks as though Patsy has made a breakthrough.
