| We are in the process of researching family history for both of our families. My wife, Catherine A. Shute Suckow and myself, Stephen J. Suckow. We have been able to obtain quite a bit of information on the Suckow Family, but have had difficulty finding information on the Shute and Hooper Families. Supposedly the Hooper Family are decendents of the James Hooper that signed the Declaration of Independence, but due to a divorce in the family it is difficult to get information beyond a certain point. Also, at some point due to a divorce, my wife's father's name was legally changed from Everett T. Shute to Thomas Russell Shute, which makes it extremely dificult to research this family history.
