* The Delaware Suetterlein Family*

Updated December 10, 2007

The Delaware Suetterlein family consists of Peter Suetterlein, his wife Karen Zielinski and their three children Joshua, Christin, and Barry.

Within this web page you will find research on the Suetterlein, Profit, Hall and Morrel family lines (Peter Grandparents) and on the Zielinski, Boriski, Novak, and Lesnick (Karen's Grandparents)

The Suetterlein line goes back to Peter's GG Grandfather Charles Suetterlein who was a boot maker who came to America from Switzerland in 1865 to make boots for the Union.

The Profits (Peter's paternal grandmother's line) came to North America through Prince Edward Island from Northumberland England in the early 1800's. Later my G Grandfather, David Profit came to the US in the early 1900's.

The Hall line can also be traced to Wiltshire, England and then to the Eastern Townships of Quebec, Canada. In the late 1800's they moved to Vermont.

The Morrel line first shows up in Canada and then migrating over to upstate NY / Vermont. One interesting note is that the Morrill line morphs into the Adams of Quincy Mass. fame! My mother's 9th great grandfather came over on the Mayflower!

All four of Karen's grandparents were all first generation immigrants from Poland.

If you have any questions or information I would love to hear from you!
