Find Family
We are currently researching: the Sukay (aka Shuki, Sukaj) family; David S Sukay, son of Andrew and Elizabeth, emigrated to this county from Vac, Hungary in the early 1900's. He settled in Southwestern Pennsylvania (Greensburg area). Of particular interest would be any information on the family in his country of origin (Hungary). David's brother, John, settled in Southwestern Pa and later the Ohio area using the alternate spelling of the family name noted above.

Also interested in the Holick (Holik) family (my mother's family) who emigrated in 1914.

We are also exploring my wife's family (Bedard, Skapura, and Puskar). Parts of these families settled in Maine and Canada (Bedard), and also Southwestern Pa (Skapura - Indiana County). The Skapura family is believed to have emigrated from the Carpatian Mountains area and are referred to as Ruthenians in Eastern Europe.

Any and all information is welcome. We are willing to share our information.
