Rev. HARPER may have been b. in Yorkshire, England. He was ordained in Toronto and was a traveling missionary for a couple of years in Ontario. Then he became pastor of St. John's Anglican Church, Bath, Ontario from 1842 - 1875, at which time he retired due to blindness.He m. Eliza Emily HARPER, who had the same surname.so they may have been related. Rev. HARPER was Harry HARPER'S ggrandfather, and Betty Sullivan's gggrandfather.
