Notes for FERGUS MOR mac ERRC, king of DALRAIDA: He established an Irish Kingdom of Dalraida in Argyle, now Scotland. He ruled for about three years, possibly from 488 - 501. St. Patrick gave his blessing to Fergus, and prophesied that he would be the father of kings who would rule in a distant and foreign nation.
