I am Researching the SUMMERVILLE'S of Mississippi, Texas, South Carolina, and Ireland. William SOMERVILLE appears in the 1850 census of Choctaw Co., MS and I think he appears in the 1840 Census of Kershaw Co., SC but I am not sure that it is him. Before that, he is born in Ireland, but I have no further information on him.
I am also reserching the BURKETT'S of Texas. My Grandmother BURKETT married a desendant of William SOMERVILLE. Through Family Tree Maker I have been able to extend my tree to Jorg BURKHARDT of Landshut, Bavaria and Apollonia Von Niederstotzingen MEYER of Niederstotzingen, Germany in 1629.

The PETRI's of Pennsylvania and Germany married into the SUMMERVILLE'S. Through Family Tree Maker I have made a contact in Germany and extended my tree to Johannes (Hanns) PERTI of Allendorf or Steinbach/Hesson, Germany in Approximately 1605.
