I have been inspired periodically throughout the years to assemble the records of our fascinating ancestors.

My most recent inspiration came with the passing of my Grandmother, Mrs. Margaret Borove Morris, whom I hardly knew.
My hope is that by discovering and recording our family's history, we can come to know, and pay respects to, those who are no longer with us.

I would like to thank my daughter's Great-Grandmother, Mrs. Lois Olive Eichelberger Erb Shaum, for writing her book, "My Journey", in which she has recorded not only the historical facts pertaining to the Eichelberger/Birky/Erb/Oswald families, but also all of her personal memories and feelings. Her book is a great treasure, and is the source for most of the information about her ancestors.

My goal is to include every twig on every branch, including photos and documents. I have collected a lot of these things, but there is a whole lot more to find. I have not included any photos yet, I am still in the compilation process, but will add them later.

Please feel free to email me with any comments, questions, suggestions, corrections, or (especially) contributions. The discovery process (not so much the data entry) has been a real joy, and I'm looking forward to filling in the rest of the branches.

I'm seriously lacking any information on The August and Henrietta Morris Family prior to 1930.
