Daniel T. Best of Duplin/Sampson Counties, NC

This site represents the descendants of Daniel and Sarah Best of Duplin/Sampson counties in NC. Daniel T. Best was a noted minister of his time with numerous accomplishments. At one time he pastored 5 churches and was instrumental in starting our home church Browns Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Clinton, NC. He was the direct descendant of his slaveowner and received an education at an early age.

We are doing extensive research on our family and welcome any assistance that you may be able to give on this family. We are in the initial stages of planning a family reunion in the summer of 2003.
