Event 1: 1553, Maybe correct date of birth (Source: Per Diane Larson-Graham's Swedish contact on Olaus Laurentius, Quote on records for Gagnef Parish in 16th/17th centuries, Olaus Laurentius is a well-known ancester of many branches in Gagnef and there is also a family society carrying his name. Me and my wife are members. As far as I
understand it is not a family research society but a general family society which meet once a year.
Of course I have Olaus and his nearest descendants in my family file, but,
as the church records does not start until the late 17:th century, 1694 for the birth
records and 1738 for the catechetical meeting records, not very much is known about them and I have not tried older documentation such as the judge´s (or magistrate´s, I don't know the name i English; domböcker i Swedish) records.
