Looking for Decendents Andre Parant, France migrated to Canada in the 16th century. Specifically looking for decendents of Louis Parent, Octave Parent & Anna Pelletier from the Quebec area in end of 1800's early 1900's.
Also looking for Milville/Deschaine migrated from France in the
16th century to Canada than to Fort Kent, Maine. Name is also spelled Deschene (Willie married to Esther Sirois) possibly from the Frenchville/Ft. Kent, Maine area.

Please contact me no matter how irrevelant it may seem.

The Parent family, Eagle Lake Maine heritage has been traced to Montagne Perche, France late 1500's early 1600's first decentant traced is Andre Parant, than Pierre Parant who had 18 children, the 11th child Etinne is in our lineage. Pierre supposedly migrated to the surrounding area of Quebec, Canada in the 1600's.
My great-grandfather was supposedly named Louis Parent, my grandfather was named Octave, married to Anna Pelletier who migrated to Eagle Lake, Maine either in the very late 1890's or early 1900's. My fathers name is Ludger George Parent, twin brother to Leo Parent.

My mothers family was Willie Deschene, also spelled Deschaine and was married to Esther Sirois. He was supposedly from Ft. Kent, Maine and she from Frenchville, Maine. The lineage has been traced from France with the original surname being Milville and they migrated to Canada where it was changed to Deschene though some of them used Milville as there middle name and some gave it up totally. There appears to be much secrecy in this lineage so I've had a hard time finding out information. My mothers name was Guyualla Deschene but as a young adult she changed it to Mary Deschene because many could not pronounce or spell her first name correctly so to make it easy on everyone she changed it to Mary.

Any information on either of these lineages truly would be appreciated. I would love to trade information.

Even if you don't see any direct relationship please contact me anyway, because there may be some along the way.

Thank you,
Carol Louise
