My family is descended from Jaques Surprenant. My great-grand father was Hubert Surprenant, the sixth generation. My grand-father, father, brother, son and grandson take us to the present day with Matthew born in 1975. Matthew is the eleventh generation. Jaques Surprenant was the son of Jaques and Louise Roquet of St. Martin, Mortagne, Perche (Orne), France. Jaques was born in 1650 A.D.
