Charles Barton Cessna, 63, died at 4:20 a.m. Saturday in his home, Glen Campbell, R D after less than a day's illness.He was mine foreman for Wetzell and Freal Coal Co., Glen Campbell.Surviving is his widow, Mrs. May Cessna.Services have been arranged for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in his late residence.The Rev. Rex Brickell will officiate and interment will be in Burnside Cemetery.

Mrs Mary Mae Cessna, 81, Glen Campbell RD1 (Smithport) died in Youngstown,Ohio on Monday, May 28 1973,
Born in Walston, Jefferson County on Jan. 27, 1892, she was a daughter of Thomas and Lillian Reed Williams.Mrs Cessna was a member of the Glen Campbell Methodist Church and the Senior Citizens Group of Gipsy.
Surviving are a son, Richard B. Niagra Falls, NY; a daughter Jean Schrode, Youngstown, Ohio; a brother Harry, Glen Campbell, RD; Five sisters: Mrs Nellie Duttry, DuBois; Mrs Lizzie Peron, Glen Campbell RD; Mrs Lillie Bricknell, Glen Campbell RD; Mrs Dollie Elder, Youngstown, Ohio; Mrs Daisy Kraynak, Youngstown, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles B. Cessna, a daughter, Mrs Ethel Watson and a son, Thomas.
Friends are being received after 2 p.m. today at the Russel D Gardner Funeral Home, Glen Campbell where services will be held at 2 p.m. with the Revs. John H Clark and Richard Williams officiating.Interment will be in Burnside Cemetery.

Mrs Edith Vern Smith, 71 of Smithville, Glen Campbell, R D 1, passed away at 2:15 a.m. May 4, in the Adrian Hospital, Punxsutawney,Born August 25, 1882, in Banks township, she was a daughter of George and Malissa Cessna.She is survived by her husband. W. A. Smithville Founder Dies
Glen Campbell-- William A Smith, 75, of Glen Campbell, RD, died unexpectedly Wednesday afternoon shortly after being admitted to Adrian Hospital, Punxsutawney.
Mr Smith was the founder of Smithville, a small community near her, and was widely known as a farmer, lumberman and coal stripper in this Indiana County town.
A native of Banks Township, Mr Smith and six of his seven sons operated a coal stripping firm on a 125 acre tract near here.His wife the former Edith Cessna, died two years ago ending a marriage union of 53 years.

These were the words of Donald E Smith of Glen Campbell R D 1 as he announce his candidacy today for the Republican nomination for sheriff.Mr Smith, presently serving his eighth year as County Detective, is an active Republican.For the past 12 years he has been a committeeman in Banks Twp. and serves on the Indiana County Republican Committee.A member of the Indiana County Republican Men, Mr Smith served two successful terms as chairman fo the GOP RegistrationCommittee.
