The Dore' Sutton Home Page

Updated October 15, 2000

Our Sutton family came from North Carolina to Lee County, Virginia. From there, on to Claiborne County, Tennessee and into Kentucky. A few of the Sutton's stayed in Kentucky, but some went on to Missouri, Arkansas and the Pacific Northwest.
My Clendenen is most recent addition to my family history. Other names that are connected to this family that I need help on are Phillis, McMickle and Smith.

My mother's side of the family is very deeply rooted in the French history of early Detroit, MI.

All help and information is welcome and needed. I would like to hear from anyone who might be connected to my family.

Other names that I am researching or have information on:
Daniels, Faught, Worley, Kimple, Gnagy, Ord, Vermet, Courier, Laviolette, Larabell, Chene, Normandin, Campau, Bruner.
