Andrew Murray (b. March 14, 1831, d. October 3, 1901)

Andrew Murray (son of Andrew Murray and Anne Anderson) was born March 14, 1831 in Scotland, and died October 3, 1901 in Badnellan, near Brora, Scotland. He married (1) Elizabeth Sutherland on November 21, 1862 in Clyne, Sutherland, daughter of George Sutherland and Margaret Sutherland. He married (2) Christina Leslie on July 26, 1867 in Dornoch, Sutherland.

Notes for Andrew Murray:
Following Elizabeth's death in 1864. Andrew, who is believed to have been a mason, also farmed at Rallan, Clyne, married Christina Leslie, date of wedding not known, she was born about 1827 and died at Badnellan on the 16 March 1890. Andrew and Christina are interred together in the grave adjacent to that of Elizabeth, their headstone was erected by their daughter Elizabeth. The headstones are barely 10cm apart.
