Notes for T
HOMAS CROSBY:
Thomas Crosby came to New England after his son Simon. He inherited half of his father's goods and the 100 acres freehold farm in Holme, which had been bought in 1502 of the Lambert family. Documents found in the Proprietors records of Cambridge, Massachusets, show that Thomas Crosby was well off. He was instrumental in bringing the first printing press in nearly all of the histories of printing in America. He adopted Anthony Crosby, son of his second son William. He passed his declining years with his grandson, Dr. Anthony Crosby, of Rowley, Massachussetts and died in 1661, age 85.

Child of T
HOMAS CROSBY and JANE SOUTHERN is:
6. i.   SIMON6 CROSBY, b. Bet. 1608 - 1609, England.
