* Roots & Branches of Kanengeiser, Ray, Tribby, Tillinghast*

Updated July 13, 2005

My father presented my sister a large packet of including a paper entitled, "Tillinghast Royal Line" from Boston Transcript 1926, and a family tree compiled of over a thousand names (handwritten and handed down through the generations).

My sister took a deep breath and began her own journey of deciphering all those handwritten notes and pages of information, and typed them.

In 1980 I was presented with the handwritten and typed pages. I promptly made copies of the original notes and because some of them were in questionable condition, I took the original papers to the Warren County Historical Society, Warren, Pennsylvania for cataloging and safekeeping. Thus began my journey through the my "Roots and Branches"

As you can see, it is long... and surprising... (as I found that both my father and mother are descendants of Henry I of England...enjoy!

I am interested in anything on the Tillinghast, Tribby, Ray, Kanengeiser, Jonathon Warren married to Mary "Polly" Appleton.

Also anyone that has information about the Svitak family that settled in Minnesota, the father was John Svitak and he was born in Bohemia.
