I am researching the Butler line descended from William Willis Butler, born 1758 in Sampson Co NC.He had 3 children, as far as we have found, named Edward, Walter and Rebecca.
Walter was born around 1800 and married Mary Ann Braddy
Rebecca married Dickerson Locke.
Another duaghter may have married Thomas Edwards (the son of a then SC senator)
and possibly a Lydia Butler (Linnie Crumpton)
Edward G. Butler, born Mar 6, 1794 in Greenville Dist SC married
Mary Busby and had 8 children
William B Butler
Willie W Butler
Robert Butler
Thomas M. Butler (Nov 24, 1830)
John Hartwell Butler
James Butler
Andrew J Butler
Mary Rosalee Turpin Butler

I am also just beginning research for Floyd (Austrailia, NM, Oklahoma), Boyd (Northumberland England), Brooks and Garrett surnames.

Would apreciate any info on these lines and would be willing to share any info I have.
