The Cockerham Family in Northwest North Carolina

I am researching the Cockerham Family from Northwestern North Carolina. With the help of a lot of people, I now have knowledge of seven generations with an additional 7 generations tentative and being researched. When I first started, I knew only as far back as my Grandfather, Luther Cockerham. With help from relatives found when I started, these generations have been filled in as far back as 1720.

Elder Humphrey Cockerham is as far back as I have documentation, some information has been found but more is needed. I'll be happy to share any information that I have. I would appreciate any information anyone might have about this family.

I have found 7 generations of the Finney family but need fill-in information. I'll be more than happy to share information.
